Hawthorn Cottage is a luxurious farm cottage panoramically situated in the Nagle Mountains over-looking the Blackwater Valley in the heart of North Cork, 12 km from Mallow and 20 km from Cork city. Located near the village of Killavullen and the ancestral home of the world famous Hennessy Cognac Family, Hawthorn Cottage is attached to a working dairy farm, where guests are welcome to visit and to participate in farm activities. Hawthorn Cottage’s idyllic setting provides the perfect base from which to explore the many scenic and historic sites of the Blackwater River Valley, where hill walking, horse riding, many beautiful gardens and the river’s world renowned salmon fishing can all be effortlessly enjoyed. Hawthorn Cottage is centrally situated to explore Killarney, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford; all within one hours drive of the cottage.

The Cottage is newly built, to the highest standard, with every modern convenience and an attractive interior finish. Deluxe ensuites, power showers, a sauna are provided for guests. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the sunny eastern patio adjacent to the kitchen, a barbecue can be savoured on the south facing patio.
